Adding Some Pizzazz to the Final Video

As I have experience with video editing, I wanted to add some music to help the video have more of an atmosphere. Adding music to a video after making it can be quite difficult because some things just won’t fit no matter how hard you try.
I got quite lucky and found a music piece called Touch by Patrick Patrikios in the YouTube Audio Library. I will admit I don’t think the song truly fits the theme of the video, however, by matching up the beat of the song to the action beats in the video I could make it work.
To do this I used Adobe Premiere Pro and ran through the music clip until I found the right place where enough beats matched that it looked like the music and video belonged together.
Feeling like something was still missing I decided to add and end card of my name being written out. To do this I used Adobe After Effects. I made sure to match the colour of the end card to the chair from the video, I felt that it would tie everything together and make it feel complete. Personally I believe it did.
