Adding the control curves to my model was simple. On every joint that could have individual movement I added one and parented them to their respective joints.

For the ears, I gave each ear their own control curve and created one for both of them, this way I would be able to move both ears at the same time in the exact same way, but still keep the option to move each ear individually.

After getting all the control curves in place I made sure that everything worked and the skeleton manoeuvre how I wanted and expected it to. I found that the watch I had included would badly deform when moving the arm and I felt that, at this stage, it would make more sense to remove it that spend time trying to fix it, as I still have a lot of steps to take before completing this project and I'm quickly losing time to do so.

After deciding that I was with the model, I froze the transformations for the control curves and then binded the joints back to the mesh using the same method I used in part 6.

To prepare for next time, I softened the edges of my model as I will be texturing.
